The 2018 Annual Meetings will take place in and around the Nusa Dua complex in Bali, Indonesia from Monday, October 8, through Sunday, October 14

The 2018 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group will be convened in Bali, Indonesia, on Friday, October 12, and will close on Sunday, October 14. At the heart of the Annual Meetings are the Annual Meetings plenary session, and the joint World Bank Group/IMF Development Committee and the IMF International Monetary and Financial Committee, which discuss progress on the work of the institutions. Also featured are seminars, regional briefings, press conferences, and many other events focused on the global economy, international development, and the world's financial markets. ​

Ke​y Ev​e​nts​​

During the Meetings, the World Bank Group and the IMF also help organize and host a number of related meetings of groups of country delegations, such as the G-20, G-24, Commonwealth, BRICS, as well as the Program of Seminars and other events beginning on Monday, October 8. Admission to events is restricted by registration category, credentials and/or invitations.

Although an initial schedule will not be ready until mid-summer, there will be Annual Meetings-related events, seminars, and meetings from Monday, October 8, through Sunday, October 14. The key events (subject to change) are as follows:

  • October 10 – G24 Deputies' Meeting
  • October 11 – G24 Ministers' Meeting
  • October 12 – Annual Meetings Plenary, and DC Lunch
  • October 13 – IMFC and DC Meetings​

Civil Society Policy Forum

The Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) provides an open opportunity for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to dialogue and exchange views with the WBG and IMF staff, their peers, government delegations, and other stakeholders. The forum is composed of sessions on a wide range of topics, which are open to all Annual Meetings attendees.

​About Corporate Secretariat Conferences Office

The Corporate Secretariat Conferences Office (SECCO), works under the supervision of the Corporate Secretary of the World Bank Group to plan and manage the logistics for the Spring and Annual Meetings. SECCO is responsible for a wide range of services during the Meetings including communications, registration and credentials, events services, office arrangements, hotel accommodation, language services, audio-visual support, documents and records, personnel, procurement, shipping, security, transportation and technology services.

The 2019 Spring Meetings will be held in Washington, DC from April 12-14. The 2019 Annual Meetings will be held in Washington, DC from October 19-20.
