Nasser Alreshaid

Nasser Alreshaid joined the Benchmarking Public Procurement team in November 2015, where he works on the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Procurement topic. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, he was a prosecutor in Kuwait facilitating international cooperation and investigating crimes concerning public funds, corruption, money laundering, securities fraud, and non-implementation of judicial decisions. He also worked as an associate at Abdullah Khaled Alayoub law firm in Kuwait and was a member of the interagency council for human rights. He has recent scholarly publications on investor-state dispute settlements and trade in the MENA region. Nasser is a doctoral candidate in law and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from NYU, an LL.M. in Public Law from Kuwait University, a law degree from the University of Sharjah, U.A.E., and a judicial and legal studies diploma from the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies. Nasser is a native Arabic speaker.

Natalia Del Valle Catoni

Natalia joined the Benchmarking Public Procurement team in May 2014, where she works under the Procurement Life Cycle topic, specializing procurement process,bid and performance guarantees and contract management of the procurement process. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, she worked at the Department of Consumer Affairs of Puerto Rico where she conducted legal analysis regarding policy decisions made by the agency. Natalia holds a joint Bachelor degree in International Relations and European History from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Law from the Washington College of Law at American University. Natalia speaks Spanish and is learning Portuguese.

Tania Ghossein

Tania joined the Benchmarking Public Procurement team in May 2013, where she acts as Project Coordinator. Prior to becoming Project Coordinator, Tania led the Filling a Complaint topic. Prior to that, she led the Starting a Foreign Investment indicators of the Foreign Direct Investment Regulations project. Before joining the World Bank Group in 2009, Tania worked as a corporate lawyer and a documentary credit analysis officer in Beirut, Lebanon. She then moved on to work at the Embassy of Jordan in Washington, D.C. Tania holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School and a law degree from the Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon. Tania speaks Arabic and French and is learning Spanish.
